Terms of Service
Contract
My contract to provide services rests with the person who requested the service.
Contact
Communications are dealt with weekdays via email.
Deadlines
I will inform you if I can meet your deadline for submission when I provide you with a quote. Thus far all deadlines have been met.
If due to unforeseen circumstances I am not able to meet a deadline, any money paid in advance for services will be refunded in full as soon as I am physically able to do so. Either that or we will mutually agree an extension.
Terminating services
For ongoing requests for content, where a service is no longer required, the client does not need to give any notice, though a friendly email to let me know is always appreciated. If I am unable to continue providing a service I will provide as much notice as possible.
Re-writes
I will make a reasonable number of amendments to articles to ensure your complete satisfaction.
Accuracy of content and proof reading
I work hard to eliminate all errors however I ask that you proof read my first draft before publishing to ensure that there are no typos or factual errors. Any errors should be brought to my attention prior to publishing so I can correct them.
Copyright
Once the content has been paid for the copyright for that content is yours.
Copyright remains mine until payment has been received in full.
Images
If you request I submit images with the content, I will find images that are available under a creative commons licence re display purposes (none commercial) only and will provide you with the image location and name/profile details of the person who posted the image with the CC permissions in order for you to give them credit for the image.
I am not liable for usage which is outside the cc terms as outlined by the images owner or any changes they make to their permissions at a date after I forward the details to you.
Links to my published work - ghost articles
In some cases articles I write are published under names other than my own as determined by you. I provide links to these published articles so that prospective clients may see samples of my work. If you are not happy for me to do this please let me know when you contract my services.
Payment terms
Payment is due monthly in advance via BACS or PayPal.
I forward an invoice via email for payment upon its receipt.
These terms are not exhaustive and additional terms may be advised upon receipt of your request for services, they may also change at any time without notice.
