PMT - makes you see things how they really are…or does it?

I am declaring war against PMT, your stories and remedy’s are requested! Please do comment freely. Comments are published instantly to enhance the comment/chat experience.

Men, this post isn’t for you. What is contained herein is far too ‘real’ for your delicate eyes. Leave now while you still have the chance!

PMT, premenstrual syndrome.

That time of the month when women become warewolves and turn their lives and those around them upside down for a few days.

Hormone changes are held responsible for this ‘change’ in character and affects some women more than others. Also there remains a skeptical few who refuse to accept that the ‘condition’ pmt exists at all.

Well, if you met me, I’d soon change that notion!

I suffer from PMT for two days in very month and it really is like a destructive force wreaking havoc on my life. My thought processes become significantly altered and what was once so right seems so wrong and I set about making changes, saying things I shouldn’t say and buying shoes and clothes I will never wear!

I become a fearless force to be reckoned with and am far too bold for my own good.

Two days later of course, I revert to my happy go lucky, rational self who loves everyone and is supremely tolerant of all things, including telesalesmarketers………ok that was a lie…NOT telesalesmarketers! But you get the drift!

Anyway, I am presently not suffering from this affliction but I thought I would share these details with you as I know there are a ton of women out there who can relate, so please do.

Join me in the war against pmt and post your stories, your cures and men…as a recipient of pmt shockwaves, you too can post here.

Let the war against pmt begin….

I have just read this post out to my bf and he asked ‘no mention of your poor suffering bf then?’

Pah!

Because blokes have this “fight not flight” instinct, they stick around for those couple of days a month when they would do well to clear off for a bit. What they unfortunately do is stay around and say things like “What the hell’s the matter with you?” (What, you haven’t worked it out after all this time?)and “You’re bloody mad!” (So are you for still being here) and “This is my house too, you know!” (Perhaps, but not this week). Their suffering is all about them not being the centre of attention.

lol, I hear ya!!
